Test Drive Meme
Test-Drive Meme
This meme serves as a practice ground for both new and old players of Somarium to both get used to Dreamwidth tagging and to voicetest characters they may choose to play in the upcoming application cycle. Potential applicants are more than welcome to join in on the fun. It works like any open meme and the rules are simple.
1. Post with your character
2. Roll 1-6 on the RNG
3. ???
4. PROFIT
1. You decide to head to the mountain. You heard that there were odd creatures lurking about and choose to investigate. Instead you bump into someone who just so happens to be in the mountain as well.
2. It's your first time creating a dream plane. So far so good. But it looks like you've got some visitors joining you as well.
3. A part of the underground tunnels collapsed and some people are trapped in the rubble. They're asking for a few good men to lend a hand. Are you up for it?
4. The Host Club is holding a big formal event and you were invited to it! Let's hope you have your +1 at your side during the event. Unless you're the wallflower type of course. Well, tough luck. People are bothering you anyway.
5. It's moving in day! Whether it be your character's or another's, there's a lot of boxes to haul into the place so better get started. Go go go!
6. Re-roll or create your own scenario.

[At a first glance, he notices that he and Kristoph immediately seem to have one thing in common: good fashion sense. If nothing else, common logic indicates that this should provide for ease of conversation.]
I was asked to attend as a chaperone.

[He smiles gently, not quite a laugh.]
The talking can get tiring, I admit. Might I get you a glass of punch?

[That she most certainly is. Kay is off having fun, while Edgeworth himself is left to stand around and do little more than watch. At another time, she might have asked her to teach him some dance moves. Today, she's off dancing with her friends. The prosecutor never imagined he would find himself bored attending this event, yet here he is. The stranger's suggestion is thus a welcome one.]
I believe I will indeed take you up on that offer, Mr...?
[It's probably for the best that Edgeworth has no idea who this person is.]

[He goes off to acquire them both some punch and returns quickly.]
And whom do I have the honor of speaking to?
[Of course, he already knows who Edgeworth is, but it's worth keeping up appearances. It always is.]

Miles Edgeworth, Chief Prosecutor.
[He takes a graceful bow before accepting the offered punch.]
A pleasure, Mr. Gavin.

[he offers a bow in return, a smile lifting at his mouth.]
Chief Prosecutor? You don't say. I'm a defense attorney.

[He remembers most of the lawyers... the good ones, anyway.]

[He offers a knowing smile.]

[He studies the dancing for a while.]
Do you enjoy it?

[It's not an exact answer, but he refuses to divulge so much about himself to someone he's only just met.]

Well, one could say that for anyone. I think prison would be the same.
