Test-Drive Meme

This meme serves as a practice ground for both new and old players of Somarium to both get used to Dreamwidth tagging and to voicetest characters they may choose to play in the upcoming application cycle. Potential applicants are more than welcome to join in on the fun. It works like any open meme and the rules are simple.

1. You decide to head to the mountain. You heard that there were odd creatures lurking about and choose to investigate. Instead you bump into someone who just so happens to be in the mountain as well.

2. It's your first time creating a dream plane. So far so good. But it looks like you've got some visitors joining you as well.

3. A part of the underground tunnels collapsed and some people are trapped in the rubble. They're asking for a few good men to lend a hand. Are you up for it?

4. The Host Club is holding a big formal event and you were invited to it! Let's hope you have your +1 at your side during the event. Unless you're the wallflower type of course. Well, tough luck. People are bothering you anyway.

5. It's moving in day! Whether it be your character's or another's, there's a lot of boxes to haul into the place so better get started. Go go go!

[Kristoph gently rests a hand on her hip, the other coming up to intertwine with her open hand. He leads the dance gracefully, but sharply.]

[Aurora is a very graceful dancer for someone who lived in the forest for sixteen years.]

Oh, please call me Aurora, sir. [She giggles.] And thank you. I suppose my aunts were a little sneaky in teaching me things I would need to know for court.

Thank you, and it's wonderful to meet you, Mr. Kristoph. I don't think I've seen you around Somarium before.

Well, that's because I've never been there. Though I must say I'm considering the possibility.

Oh, I think that would be wonderful if you did come. Meeting new people is always fun!

I can certainly say it would be a pleasure to come. I do love to travel, but work has kept me cooped up in one place for too long. I'll have to see.

I'm a defense attorney.

Oh, I'm afraid I don't know what that is.

Many people, when they're accused of wrongdoing and brought to a court of law, hire someone who is intricately familiar with the law and how the court procedures work, so that they have a better chance of having their name cleared. That's a defense attorney.

Oh yes, thank you. Though I hope I am never accused of such wrong doings.

I doubt a lady as beautiful of yourself is capable of even an impure thought.

[She giggles as they continue to dance.] I certainly hope that is the case. Although I honestly don't know what sort of ruler that will make me.

Oh? [He quirks an eyebrow at her at this.] Have I wooed a princess? That's quite an accomplishment.

Actually yes, I am the crown princess of Aleera, my parents are King Stefan and Queen Leah.

I should have known, with your graceful dancing. I hope you can accept my dearest apologies for my ignorance.

Oh please don't, you didn't know and I didn't tell you until now.

Aleera? Well, Aleera has a very vibrant forest and magical creatures live alongside us.

Magical creatures? Of what sort? Where I come from, we don't have anything that might be construed as magic.

Well, I was raised by three faeries, for example.

That's fascinating. We don't have faeries in my home.
