Test-Drive Meme

This meme serves as a practice ground for both new and old players of Somarium to both get used to Dreamwidth tagging and to voicetest characters they may choose to play in the upcoming application cycle. Potential applicants are more than welcome to join in on the fun. It works like any open meme and the rules are simple.

1. You decide to head to the mountain. You heard that there were odd creatures lurking about and choose to investigate. Instead you bump into someone who just so happens to be in the mountain as well.

2. It's your first time creating a dream plane. So far so good. But it looks like you've got some visitors joining you as well.

3. A part of the underground tunnels collapsed and some people are trapped in the rubble. They're asking for a few good men to lend a hand. Are you up for it?

4. The Host Club is holding a big formal event and you were invited to it! Let's hope you have your +1 at your side during the event. Unless you're the wallflower type of course. Well, tough luck. People are bothering you anyway.

5. It's moving in day! Whether it be your character's or another's, there's a lot of boxes to haul into the place so better get started. Go go go!

6. Re-roll or create your own scenario.

Mary-Margaret. It's nice to meet you, Yuna. [Gives a small headshake now, but still, she smiles.] No, sorry. I haven't. But don't worry, no one seems to be aware of where I'm from, either.

[The city, anyways.]

You've probably-- you've probably never heard of it. I'm from Storybrooke, Maine. Maine, people have heard of. I lose them at Storybrooke.

[She tilts her head. A bit confusedly, but still polite-faced. ]

Maine? So you are..probably not from Spira.

[hashope]

[Blinking.]

Spira? Oh, no. No, I'm not. I'm not sure I've ever even heard of Spira. Which, I guess, continues to confirm the 'different worlds' thing.

[calmbringer]

[Yuna looks a bit dismayed, but quickly covers it with a laugh, hands clasped in front of her. ]

So that is true, then. I..have already considered that there were other worlds, even different versions of cities, but different worlds…how—truly amazing.

Yes, Spira is my world. Yours has a name, doesn’t it?

I never really - Well, I take that back. One of my students...he's convinced everyone in my town are characters from a book I gave him, so I guess that would mean a different world? But he just has an overactive imagination. [So she thinks.

She gives a nod.] Earth. My world is called Earth.

[calmbringer]

I think it's not impossible--maybe he--is right somehow? After all, we are here, are we not? [a sheepish little smile]

Earth..it's a nice name.

[She pauses, then gives a small smile.] You do have a point there.
