Test-Drive Meme: September 2012
This meme serves as a practice ground for both new and old players of Somarium to both get used to voicetest characters they may choose to play in the upcoming application cycle. Potential applicants are more than welcome to join in on the fun. It works like any open meme and the rules are simple.
1. Post with your character and their name and canon on the subject line.

1. Looks like the Ob Holm bazaar is having a sale. There's a few interesting trinkets here and there but maybe you need a little help deciding what to buy.
2. The dreamgate isn't accessible for the return trip back from Endouto to Ob Holm so it looks like you're stuck for a couple of days. Maybe it's time you gather some supplies or explore the area.
3. Someone just stole something off of you! Quick! Call for help or chase after them!
4. You know what's a good thing about that resort in Ob Holm? It's got a pretty cool oasis to chill at. Talk about a five star vacation.
5. Somehow you're taking a trip on Cid's airship over the desert. Whether to Somarium, Ob Holm or Endouto is up to you!
6. Reroll or go crazy and make something up!

Yea Lucy's here. She's sleeping now though. She needs some time to heal after what happpened in the Tournament before getting dragged into this place.
[Crosses his arms and looks defiantly at you.]

Natsu was never much of a liar - he was a bit stupid for that, he figured - so he could believe she was in good care until he could see her.
Loki then just sighs in a nearly dramatic fashion and looks away from Natsu pointedly. Almost seeming SO put off by having to spend time with him rather than his master when she was hurt and could likely use his handsome face to cheer her up, surely. Though his expression does turn a bit serious afterward, even with that in mind. ]
I suppose there's not much else I can do right now so that is fine.

Apparently it's some dreamworld. Hypnopia or or smething like that. As for this place, it's a resort called Ob Holm. We're also pretty much stuck in this world.
I was going to get revenge for what happened to Lucy but then I woke up in this place. Reminds me of Edolas all over again except hte army isn't hunting us. this time.

No it isn't the best but for now it's the only thing he has to go on, which is strange in itself because it's a dreamworld and if it's magic, how could it be possible to pull so many people into it and keep them there? That would be a tremendous amount of power which is enough to make him push the idea aside but not discounting it entirely despite the mention of how they were stuck here.
Yet...
There's the talk of places that sound unfamiliar to him as well as the army. The last thing he remembers is the incident with the Oracion Seis; a painful memory with him and Aries that was beyond unpleasant and unexpected but he shook his head, focusing on the things that Natsu had said as it did make him quite curious. ]
Edolas? Why exactly would the army be hunting you all?

Yea Edolas. Remember the whole city got sucked up in this spell called Anima? Then it ended up turned into a giant lachryma by that mad king there who wanted magical power cause...They didn't have their own like we do. Oh yea the mad king was also Mystogan's dad! That was a real surprise right there.
[He's oversimplifying things and cutting ahead in the story quite a bit.]

[ Well. Unless he missed something, all of that sounds REALLY unfamiliar to him. By the sounds of it, he couldn't have missed something like that. ]

You don't? What about the S Class exam? I hear you fought another of thos big important spirits with a golden key. A goat man was it...
[Cupping his chin in thought. Too bad he's slow to figure out time frames matter little to Somarium when it wants to grab someone from their world.]

Though what catches his attention is the last part. Which makes him frown a little in concentration as he tries to recall that but nothing - like the rest - rings a bell. The only spirit who was a 'goat man' would have to be Caprico, but what was that about the S-Class Exam and fighting him?!
Sighing, Loke ran a hand through his hair while trying to put all the pieces together but it just looked like a lot of them were missing. ]

I do not remember fighting him or anything you've said, Natsu.
[ A pause and he closes his eyes for a moment. ]
...The last I remember was the battle against the Oracion Seis. Do you remember that at all?

Wha? Oracion Seis? But that's like ages ago for me and Lucy.
[At least it feels like ages ago given they lost 7 years in the blink of an eye.]
I guess you're from the past then. I heard people here say that you can get brought from any point in time from your world. Some even get brought from the dead.

Loke frowned a bit at that and finally opened his eyes to look at the light-haired Dragon Slayer just a bit from where he stood. ]
This... place. It certainly quite strange if it can manage to accomplish those things without fail when certainly it should be impossible.
[ A beat is followed by a small, almost amused smile. ]
To think it can actually keep you locked here is quite incredible as well.

Loke can't help but chuckle a little at his words, smile never fading even once. It wouldn't be the same if Natsu didn't think that way and it makes him relax a little bit. ]
Give it time. If there's anyone who will find a way out of here, it will be you.
[ A pause and he is curious about something. ]
I admit I'm curious. Is this Dream world limited to this Ob Holm or is there much more to this than it looks now?

I woke up in this place just like you. Apparently there was another city people used to wake up in. But it got destroyed just before we ended up here.
