Test-Drive Meme: September 2012

This meme serves as a practice ground for both new and old players of Somarium to both get used to voicetest characters they may choose to play in the upcoming application cycle. Potential applicants are more than welcome to join in on the fun. It works like any open meme and the rules are simple.

1. Post with your character and their name and canon on the subject line.

1. Looks like the Ob Holm bazaar is having a sale. There's a few interesting trinkets here and there but maybe you need a little help deciding what to buy.

2. The dreamgate isn't accessible for the return trip back from Endouto to Ob Holm so it looks like you're stuck for a couple of days. Maybe it's time you gather some supplies or explore the area.

3. Someone just stole something off of you! Quick! Call for help or chase after them!

4. You know what's a good thing about that resort in Ob Holm? It's got a pretty cool oasis to chill at. Talk about a five star vacation.

5. Somehow you're taking a trip on Cid's airship over the desert. Whether to Somarium, Ob Holm or Endouto is up to you!

6. Reroll or go crazy and make something up!

Even in a crowded place like this? Might be a little hard to hide all the bodies where no one would see. I don't think anyone would like the idea of a burning them either.

Just 'cause I ain't really a Student Council President doesn't mean I can't straighten people out, is all. It helps everyone out if I don't let it slide.

[Rise gives the girl a once over. That was definitely Yasogami's summer uniform she was wearing but Rise's never even seen her before. She may not really participate in that kind of thing but she would've at least heard of this girl, right?]

[A small look of confusion runs across Labrys's face briefly, but it changes into a sheepish smile.]

Yeah. Well, I guess I can't blame ya if you didn't know, since you weren't there for most of it. When I got thrown into th' TV, I thought I was human and the Student Council President of Yasogami High. Guess a small part of me still wants to be that, y'know?

The TV World? You know about it? [Well... that's weird. She pauses for a moment, but shakes her head.] Sorry, but I don't recall seeing anyone like you being thrown in there.

[Rhyme stays quiet as Shiki plays the man haggles, nodding her head in agreement whenever it seems appropriate. Eventually she receives her watch and hat, and she smiles half-apologetically at the merchant as she pays for the items. He can still make up for the loss in profit before the festival ends, right..?

Neither of the things really fit her outfit so Rhyme will just kep them in their bag for now. She beams at Shiki when they're far away from the shop that crowd hides them from its view.]
